There is not enough interest and transparency on how serious is the damage we are causing by buying fashion items nor how this works. We are responsible since this industry uniquely responds to trends society agrees on setting. Trends are based on development and change. Historically, these have been remarkable when it comes to fashion, from when this industry was a luxury only some could enjoy to its popularization. This popularization mixed with the rapidly changing and evolving trends caused “fast fashion” with which this industry has reached its environmental tipping point, one of the greatest prices of fashion.
